"WhY dO I LoVe PhYsiCs?"

(Nabuo ang kathang ito dahil ginawang pang-midterm exam
ng professor namin ang essay na ito. Sa ngalan ng midterm exams.
Ahe. : D ).

Before I state my reasons why I love physics, let me first state
the reasons I've seen during my schooling period why others don't lend
their time, effort, and desire to study and learn about it.

Based upon my observations, let me cite the causes.

          Here they are.
Others hate figures. All that refers to calculations and numbers.
Others just want to learn it because they only want to pass the subject.
After some memorizations and examinations, after a week or two, ask
the same question to them and let them discuss it and expect that they've
forgotten it. Others don't want to exercise and practice. They thought that
when the discussion is finished, learning also does. Having been occupied
with other subjects that are piled up for the student to comply, they over-
look such subject. Lastly, others use their time unwisely. Time is being
wasted because it is spent on doing insignificant stuffs. And the opportu-
nity utilizing it so that they could put something on their minds is being
lost. (Well, truth hurts, but it will make us free).

This has led me to my confession.
Honestly speaking, I don’t really love Physics. I would be belong
to those students who just sits on the class because I just want to pass
the subject.

But it was changed when I entered as a third year college student.
Physics is a part of our lives which is, being, unnoticed. Its usage
has played a drastic impact in our world. Without it, we would not know
why the leaf is falling or what forces are acting on a particular matter. In
short, we wouldn’t know the physical properties, interactions, the proces-
ses, laws and respective phenomenas.

I loved Physics first, because my perception is changed for lear-
ning of it will be of my own benefit. Second, it is wisdom. The Bible says
that wisdom is shouting on the streets. And physics as a part of wisdom is
very easy to acquire if you will respond to her shout. Or you will want it.
Lastly, it’s because of our professor. She taught us how this subject is very
important for us. She is very concerned about us that she teaches lessons
that we may possibly encounter next semester. And I am so grateful because
she never fails to share her knowledge to us knowing that what she’s doing
is significant. (I will not discuss about her any further because I don’t want
others to think that I’m a straw that sips on a juice so I can benefit).

Physics is a way of life. Learning it should be a piece of cake.
Loving it will not be too hard if we will have the desire to learn.
And I hope that these can suffice the question being asked why do I
love the subject matter. Because if I do not make it,

          I will regret it.

"LoVe ReVoLuTiOn" (aN exPeCtatiOn).

In a country where revolution has played a big role to make a drastic change
in a perturbed society, we became a recipient of it and attained the freedom
and liberty all of us are enjoying right now.

And talking about revolution, we remember the noble ones who fought for
freedom, justice and liberty, the glory of their sacrifice, the desperation and
exasperation to have independence from any other control and the unforget-
table EDSA. And these, we and the next generations will make it on their
minds of who they were and what they are.

Studying some revolutions that happened throughout history, (well, by the
way, thanks to my social studies teacher who shared histories and ideologies
about that) above all their ideologies and strategies how they can conquer a
powerful regime or plans to make their will manifested, they fall in one thing
in common. They can't continue what they've started. The best plans man
has ever created to make this world humane, after attaining their goal, gra-
dually dergrades and turns into vanity. I'll give some short examples.

In Russia, the Soviet Union falled down after Joseph Stalin planned to make
their country to be a proletariat republic with Vladimir Lenin, Leon Trotsky and
other activists. After removing the czarist government, people believed and co-
operated most of the ideologies created by Karl Marx. Because they can't main-
tain the egalitarian principles of their party, the conspiracies and abuse of Stalin's
power, his regime controlled the people until World War II, that eventually led to
the fall of USSR. We'll not go farther at the second one.

People Power, in its essence have emerged due to the suppressing situation
of our compatriots
in those days. Abusive power and depressing environment
created a momentum and sparked the flame of urgency that led to the people's
uprise. Being unconcerned is not the play of the game.

And all was history. Democracy attained but the plans that were to be main-
tained to make this nation be liberated by the social injustices this country is
still facing,  from the past until now becomes still unmanifested.

Okey. "What's your point?", you may ask.
I will try to expand the idea with respect to the theme of this year's conference
in its rational and radical form.

Can you consider Christ as a revolutionary? I'll just put on my views as being
an activist.

I'll answer that for you. Obviously no, in its biblical aspect. But he became man
and experienced the same struggles, trials and injustices that we are seeing now,
and what did He do when He encountered it? He didn't turned a blind eye. He
stand for what's right, just and true and continued it up to the cross. He changed
the course of history, He broke the perverted standards of this world subjecting
under His feet. He defended the widow and the poor. He demonstrated love
and justice. He redeemed what was lost, He fought injustice and sin. And those
are the things that I may consider Him a revolutionary and others reflected Him
by being revolutionists.

And what made Him endure all of the struggles and to be consistent to what
He has promised?
His ideology was simple. It is LOVE. To make people justified and let God
glorified.

And so it applies to us today. The consistency of the manifestation in the
goals of a revolution depends on a strong ideology and how it will be maintained.
If true love will be inculcated in people's hearts, it will bring not only behavior
modification but also life transformation, and change every bad situation, and
just to end the paragraph rhythmically, quoting from my friend's comment in fb,
making that "complacency is not an option." Having God's love gives us a divine
compulsion to speak and act. Making Christ the Lord of all.

Which is only found in Him. Which will be the fuel to continue what God wants
us to do. And passion will follow. It will not fail nor deteriorate.

Get the picture. Radical or extreme as it may seem, but true.
Well, I hope it will not only end after the conference. We, as being imparted by
God's love will be the ones to impact and change every aspect of society and
making God's ultimate expression made be known until Christ comes.

An expectation I want to witness in this season of my life.
To wrap it up, I came up with this realization.
So far, after all the ideologies and revolutions have faltered its dreamed
purpose, our God will never cease to prove to us and put it in an expression that..

     "Love never fails."

"SoMedaY"

"What's rational teaches us that we have nothing to wait but further
destitution, betrayal, suppression and slavery. What's rational teaches us not
to waste our time hoping for the promised relief that will never come and will not
happen. What's rational teaches us to have faith in ourselves, be unified, in one
accord and purpose to find the wickedness that is pervading in our society."

From the hero who was a victim of injustice, which was supposed to be the
first president of the Philippines but murdered because of envy and hungry for power,
Andres Bonifacio.

He said that because he wanted to open the minds of the people, the meaning
of it against perversion and incorrectness. And at his hope that is gradually losing to
alter what he's noticed back then. Maybe the Christ that he heard at that time is not
tantamount as what we have heard today that gives peace, salvation, and hope to
those who will come to Him. In conclusion, he said, "be unified..-to find the wickedness
that is pervading." He said that because there's nothing to do in such wickedness but
to change it and implement righteousness. Why?

If a man is experiencing suffering because of the profanity and repression in the
hands of others, that will thrust him in having an uprise to conquer, and change it to
what's just, that God has set to happen in His time.

A typical individual would say, "So what? I wasn't there, and it's more than a
century ago." Don't you know that that thing is the reason why you're tasting such
freedom right now? That their revolt and revolution they've done was proffered to their
Creator, to the God that they don't truly known because it was perverted when it was
presented to them? That our heroes are hoping that evil will end someday and they will
experience the propriety that they're aspiring for? To live with dignity, equality, respec-
ting one's rights and most of all, for the glory of God who controls all things.

We have savored so much the result of their fight that led to our liberty to this
day, that has been deprived to them when they are still alive. Did they receive such
reward because they offered their lives? Like as Christ that He gave His life so that we
could receive the gift of eternal life which He has provided. If we will scrutinize, Jesus
Christ is not only a God who saves. He's also a hero who fought against all kinds of
evil that's permeating in this world. It happen and He became victorious when He was
nailed to the cross, died, and lived again. He sacrificed His life for the order and the
common good of all.

"So what's the point?", the intelligent reader will ask as they continue reading. What
was the reason why He offered His life? Aside from saving us from our sins? It is stated
from the Bible that Jesus Christ, "will judge the poor fairly and defend the rights of the
helpless, He will rule His people with justice and integrity*, God has put his Spirit upon
Him, and He will bring justice to the nations." All of that has been transpired when He
walked here on earth. And our heroes made it an example in following it, of what Jesus
has made.

What does the author what to point out?
There are two things he want to emphasize.
To be God-fearing, other terms, theocratic, and to be patriotic.
Going back, in the time that our heroes are living, they were patriotic, offered them-
selves to fought against poverty, opression, slavery, inequality. But they don't know how
to call to the true God.

And we, at this time, knowing the true God., who made the heavens and the earth,
who is powerful and displays His love for us (does others truly know Him?). But the sense
of patriotism has been set aside because others became selfish and boastful. It hurts but
it's true. Always. And others, which is quite very saddening, neither of the two things that
has been stated is part of their minds (are you one of them?). Others are abusing the things
that are the result of the freedom that they've got because of a moribund way of their lives,
which our heroes didn't thought of when they were still alive. They live simply like Christ.
How does this two can be united?

Actually, those two are intertwined, but it's either others are not doing the former,
the latter or the worst, both of the two. Why? We have been accustomed to the perception
that we must first think of ourselves. Reckoning the fact that you can't give what you don't
have. That means you have to acquire. Right?

But when it becomes immoderate, becomes bad. And many of us are doing this in
our generation. Gone was the fact that we are living on hard times but that is we're pulling
ourselves down. We see the greatness and the power of God, and His character. Jesus
Christ, His deity, we comprehend it and what His very true plans and acts in this world is
we, sometimes, aiming for. God Has shown us what is good, and what does He requires,
to do justly, love mercy and to walk humbly with Him.*
      How does it is undone?

Perhaps others are focusing at themselves, busy, or the sad fact, ignorant of what's
happening in their surroundings. They don't know what they don't know. Or maybe they
are oblivious at the fact that justice and compassion also a part of God's character that
should be in the traits of His followers, doesn't it?

Remember, Jesus is always knocking at the door of your heart waitinjg for you to
open and accept Him in your life. This are for those who people who doesn't know Him
yet.
Why did the writer include that?
It's because when Christ governs your life, by changing the inner attitudes of your
heart and mind can change the outer facets of your lives.

And for those who know Him, we should affirm our faith, that He's real. Moreover,
let's contemplate the things that are happening in our circle, especially in our country
at how Jesus will perceive it and what could He possibly do.
And when we comprehend it with such apprehension and lucidity, we could say that
we, are not now living for ourselves. We're also living for others. Because it is no longer
us who lives but it is Christ who lives in us.*

And in what way can we evince this in following Him? Aside from going to church,
give your tithe, meditate His word and walk in His ways?
That is, by thinking and reaching others. That we consider the welfare of others, who
are in dire need we could help at at any cost in the things that an individual is incapable
of. Whether it is wisdom, knowledge, strength, prayers, whatever.(in pecuniary terms,
it depends).

Yes, we have different books we are writing, different stories that everyone's doing,
but it should not hinder us in reaching others.
In the end, what's important is not what you have reached in this life. What weighs
most is what have you done. Like our heroes. Our God will be more pleased if those who
are experiencing poverty are diminishing, peasants receive their lots, adhering human
rights, justice served to those who deserve, giving quality education, peace, righteous
governance that fears God, people who are praying.

And this is defined in one single word.
     RATIONALISM.
That is not set aside. That the paradoxical sense of what "Andy" has been said
earlier will be rectified. That everyone of us may partake to let the will of God happen
here, through us who knows Him very well. If you love the country where you were born
you'll be the one who will initiate it, not forgetting the people around you. Because what
you have done to the least of my brethren, you do it unto me, as Jesus stated.

As "Andy" adds, "true faith in God is defined by loving the country that where you
were born, because this is the real essence of loving others."
Whether you are rich or poor, stop being hypocrite, don't be ignorant.

You are also also not exempted as being a believer, you'll just stay spiritual, and enjoy
the goodness of the Lord. Well, it's good to appreciate it, but remember, we are still on
earth. Let yourself be a blessing to others also. Let us demonstrate the will of God to
manifest here on earth as it is in heaven.

And you. Yes. The one who reads this very, very, lengthy writing. (haha). Make this in
your mind to be a patriotic person who knows God that executes righteousness that He
has given. The fight that our heroes from did from the start is not yet finished. There's
nothing at risk if you do it.

Because until now, the system is still perverted.
Hoping you've understand this, better to be a reflection in the coming heroes day
and holy week. Actually, this thing is not only for that season, it's for life.
    If not, open your eyes.
A prose that only time could dictate when it will happen..
