"The Hope Of Glory"

Seeing the title would seem to be profound to you at first. I was just so curious about the phrase that it made me to delve further so I can understand it in a light and relatable way in this present time since this was written to the Colossians by the Apostle Paul. He stated the phrase as a mystery that was been hidden for ages and generations yet now become disclosed to the saints.

If God wasn't pleased to make it revealed to us as Gentiles, we will not know the good news that has been shared long time ago by the divine old book.

Looking deeper, Apostle Paul emphasized the supremacy of Christ. He doesn't belong to an option that can be chosen to any doctrines or philosophy that this world gives to man. He's not also a part of any ideological thinking or subtle dogmas that religion puts a burden to one's shoulders.

Jesus Christ is supreme over all. Everything that is above and beneath, anything that rises and falls under the sun. All things are created for Him, He's before all things and in Him all things hold together. He encompasses all.

Scrutinizing it and it's background, revelation came to my senses. And this is what I've found out. And suppose what the apostle also tries to say.

Jesus deserves a centerstage in our lives. Focusing our eyes on Him, his finished work and in his love gives us the assurance we need to depend on Him always. We can never rely at the perspective and the thinking of this world. On every beliefs that compromises and sets aside the reality of who Jesus is and what he can do for us. There's no other secret formula on how we can make this life easier and better. It is only through Him that we can find our lives satisfied.

Believing in Him always makes it happen. Trusting Him in everything and that he can really do the things that is beyond the scope of our limits.

As we ask God that He may reveal more of who Jesus is, we should also have the consistent and persistent desire to seek Him and he'll give it without reproach. Jesus will reveal Himself to you and life will never be the same again. Through believing, we can hope that he could and would take care of everything that pertains to us.

The main point. When we have the revelation that all things, especially good, are connected to Jesus, we have an access to unlock the things God has in stored for us.

Jesus has changed our stories since we let Him entered our hearts. That was just the start. Growing deeper in the knowledge of Him, we are maturing and our expectancy of Him becomes more fortified. Therefore as believers with a deep and personal relationship with Jesus, we can raise our level of seeing and knowing Him. From being a storychanger to the one that we can hope to give us our glorious destiny.

There is an assured destiny that awaits us. Yes, people are changing, maturing and transforming. But our advantage to others in our case as believers in Christ is we are changing from glory to glory.

As you track back and trace yourself on how God's faithfulness brought you to where you are right now today, you will see that the transition that was transpired was not just only the result of your own effort. It was with your believing, holding, and continuous claiming of His promises, faith and action, that made all the things you've desired thrusted into manifestation.

We can experience the glorious life God has prepared and promised through Jesus.

Having that in mind, we can boldly affirm his promises to happen to us. We can assure to ourselves that whatever our hands touch will prosper and the things we do will really succeed. We can claim to ourselves without hesitancy that all things in every aspect of our life will work together for good because we love God and He has called us according to His purpose. We need not to think too much of our imperfections or be ashamed because by His goodness, He will perfect the things that which concerns us. We can hope that whatever sacrifices and sufferings we have endured is nothing compared to the glory He will reveal to us later. Not only after death. But in this present time we are living in can we experience it also.

It doesn't mean that we can now just chill and relax. Let it be cleared. Do your best and God will do the rest. He's the best collaborator we can have in life. The best days are really yet to come for us who have Christ.

Where we are today flying in the broad skies of life is heading towards our destination. We must just remain on course and be faithful on where God has placed in this season of our life.

This might bring delay but no sins, mistakes, failures, frailties, shortcomings, discouragements, nor disappointments can disqualify us from the destiny God has pre-arranged for us. For we know that as we walk with Him, we are being perfected in, and by his love.

Taking this on a personal note, I have really no idea of what my future will be. But as I have placed my trust to the one who holds my future, I am rest assured, it will be bright and glorious.

Radical? Be as it may. I'm just citing an indubitable truth.

Well, I think this is what the great Apostle wants the church to be understood in those days. And to us on how we should look at Him in the reality of our present, personal lives. Thank God for keeping this phrase for centuries. It serves as an inspiration to those who remain faithful and obedient in Christ.

Oh what a glorious destiny awaits to those who have and know fully of Christ. This reminds me as well. I know he has just prepared and I'm walking towards it. I'm in the process that's geared towards to the greater exploits that God wants me to do. That I may continue to be a blessing to my family, friends, and in the scope of my influence, all for the glory of Him.

Jesus Christ living inside of us.
He's really indeed without question our ultimate hope of glory.  :)

Colossians 1:26-29 (The Message Version)
This mystery has been kept in the dark for a long time, but now it’s out in the open. God wanted everyone, not just Jews, to know this rich and glorious secret inside and out, regardless of their background, regardless of their religious standing. The mystery in a nutshell is just this: Christ is in you, so therefore you can look forward to sharing in God’s glory. It’s that simple. That is the substance of our Message. We preach Christ, warning people not to add to the Message. We teach in a spirit of profound common sense so that we can bring each person to maturity. To be mature is to be basic. Christ! No more, no less. That’s what I’m working so hard at day after day, year after year, doing my best with the energy God so generously gives me.

Totally strucked.
To God be the glory! :D
